Building a home uses a very similar approach to building apps. If you’re looking to have a home or an app made, you should know what the process is so that you get exactly what you’re looking for and you know where the time and money is spent.

There are many formal techniques used, but the process can be broken down into just three high-level areas. I call these the 3 D’s of Development:
