What You Need to Know About How Apps Are Made – Part 2 – Design

In Part 1 of this series, we discussed the “3 D’s of Development” – design, development and deployment. In this article, we’ll discuss what happens in the Design phase:

If you’re building a home, the first thing you would do is work with the architect and contractor to design and plan how the home will be built and determine the schedule. For instance, do you want a 3 bedroom home, or a tiny home? Do you need it in a month or a year?

The same applies for application development. Meetings will be held with  you to determine what features the app should have, and what schedule would work for you. After the set of features is agreed upon, the team will estimate what is needed to achieve each feature. Then, a project plan will be drafted which will outline the tasks to be done and the overall schedule. Once the project schedule is agreed upon, the team will work on the technical design of the app.

Here at Full Auto Media, we’ll show you a prototype of the app to ensure we’re all on the same page.
